Murder in Farm Country

I ventured out his morning to see where a dead man was found in his car not too far from the house.

Apparently, someone noticed that this fellow’s flashing warning lights had been on for 6 hours!  The car itself was pretty far up in a roadless field.

The newspapers say the dead body is being investigated as a murder. The dead fellow was from out of area — north of Baltimore — and was supposed to be in court in another County on Wednesday for a domestic violence case and a final protective order.

He never showed up.

More to be revealed, no doubt.

As for the pictures of the roadkill fox and the rather wooly sheep, they were taken within a few hundred feet of each other on the same stretch of road.

Fox and sheep are all about, but they are not in opposition to each other. The fox has only traffic and disease to fear. Sheep, on the other hand are prone to death by accident, bad weather, loose dogs, and perhaps coyote.

Neither fox nor sheep fear being shot in a domestic squabble.  That’s a human thing.
