This Barred Owl skull is the remains of a road-impact victim collected in late March.
Bird skeletons are very fragile. Notice the huge eye orbits and massive brain case.
This skull was soaked in a diluted bleach and soap mix, but will get a little more cleaning with hydrogen peroxide after it is stabilized with a few dollops of glue.
