Red Fox vs Jack Russell Skeleton
Notice how narrow, light-boned, and obviously flexible the chest of the red fox is.
Fox are built like cats, not dogs, and a dog that hopes to follow a red fox into a tight den has to be considerably shorter in height than the fox.
Red Fox taxidermy mounts have chest 14” or less in circumference (35.5 cm).
