Matt M. was up this way yesterday, and we had a three hour coffee, discussing all kinds of things, including his new iPhone 14.
Bottom line: I willed by iPhone 11 to the family “backup box,” and got a new iPhone 14 ProMax today.
Why? The zoom. There are (allegedly) phones with more zoom, but iPhone has never let me down, and I saw what I liked.

Second picture is the three-up light switch on the back wall.
No, it’s not my 83x optical zoom Nikon, but 15x is good enough for my daily carry iPhone.
