DARWIN, my mother’s rescue Jack Russell-mix, which came to me after my mother passed in July, is 11-12 years old. As my mother deteriorated, she fed him off her plate, with two chronic medical issues following.
After a serious diet, Darwin is now about 12 pounds lighter than he was.
Today Darwin went in for his second round of renovation work: dental.
Just got the call — four extractions, which is not as bad as I feared.
Darwin is a Very Good Boy and I am happy he is improving health-wise. We should all be so lucky.
