I’ve been looking at land.
An agent sent me a notice: A good location above a small river. It was a bit too small a property, at too high a price, but it perc’d and had a well.The agent said the two trailers on the property could be sold, but the tenants were paying $2,000 a month which could be income while I got engineering and permits.
I swung by to find two double wides on the property. They were flying a tattered Trump and a tattered Confederate flag. All I could think of was… they’re living in a van, down by the river.
Not the property for me, for several reasons. Truthfully I did not even go down the driveway.
Some people live like frightened porcupines — quills out and shaking their warning. It’s always best to leave such unfortunates alone.
