Bones Amid the Wild Flowers


The skeletal remnants of last year’s fawn is being pulled into the ground by worm casings, and covered over by grass and wildflowers. 

This very much alive older deer was leading a harem of four within a stone’s throw of these bones. I wonder if he was the sire?
