A Marshy Area for Wildlife

Wood Duck boxes with anti-predator cones, beaver lodges, and an area for retriever training.

The first turtles were seen last week, the first frogs were heard today.

The water is free of waterlilies and lotuses, but the duckweed is starting up along the edges, and a few ripples suggest the presence of diving beetles.

We are on the leading edge of Spring, but the 72 degree weather of today will retreat to a high of 36 tomorrow.
