I went winter kayaking today. Paddled down river, and peddled back up to the car.
It was a warm day of 55-66 degrees and I got it done between rains, but it was 20+mph winds on the water, and brooding slate-gray skies.
There were a lot of vultures kettling high on the winds, and I saw two blue herons flying as well as a flock of mergansers.
