Paddle and Peddle

I loaded the kayak AND the e-bike to test a concept that worked out perfectly.

  • I dropped the e-bike downstream 6 or 7 miles (4 cable locks and a cover with electric alarm), and then drove upstream to drop in the kayak, leaving the car.

  • Two and a half hours later, I got on the e-bike and took the towpath back up to the car, where I loaded the e-bike and drove back downstream to load the kayak, before going home.

  • Next time, I do this with one of the dogs as my paddle companion.
