The Wee Wolves and I checked a dozen holes on the farm we visited last Sunday, filling in holes we left open last week and making sure there was no movement at the holes previously collapsed. The land owner exhaust-gassed these holes in the Fall, and she did a good job; only one groundhog was left on these 70 acres, and he was sent to Valhalla last week. A nice walk around with the dogs, and then a stop to pick up a small waterlily for the garden.
