In my community (northern CA), the local animal control was offering free spay/neuter to pit bulls and chihuahuas. No other breeds were offered this free service. Poor things are a dime a dozen here in CA. Like all dogs, they need firm training. We adopted a little Napoleon two years ago. He can be a noisy yapper, but he’s an integral part of the family and a good dog-brother to my older WV feist.
