Rigging the bicycle for farm digging turns out to be surprisingly easy — just tie the shovel and snare across the rear of the wire paniers. This effort was a jury-rig affair using what ties I had in the vehicle, but it worked fine through thick brush, down farm road, and tow path.
If I put two “anything” cages on the front forks, I **might** be able to bike with 6’ bar and posthole diggers too. We’ll see. Now if the temperature and humidity will just drop!
