Summer in the Field

I picked up my game cameras from 3 days in the field near the house, and it was as expected — lots of raccoon and fox and deer, but no coyotes. I think the coyotes have to travel a bit farther for food in the dead of winter, while grub is just 100 yards away this time of year. Fawns everywhere, but fewer baby ducks and geese than last year. Hawks have mostly disappeared into the foliage as well — very easy to spot in winter, but much harder now. Rabbits everywhere — no rabbit ebola here yet, I am happy to report.
