The wife and I took the new kayaks out today and paddled about 4 miles on a local river. I wanted to run this section without camera or dogs in case a stretch of rocks was problematic. Next time I’ll bring the dogs and a real camera. We saw several blue herons, two osprey, one deer, a barred owl, and this immature bald eagle. Complete solitude; it could have been 1425.

Rolling Down the River
The wife and I took the new kayaks out today and paddled about 4 miles on a local river. I wanted to run this section without camera or dogs in case a stretch of rocks was problematic. ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say, as a wife of 30+ years, nothing makes me happier than adventuring with my partner. I love that you and the Mrs are adventuring together, may you have many more years of it ahead!
