This wee adolescent fox was dead on the road near where I was dropping a kayak in the river this morning. Vehicle impact of the kind that was old when Kipping was writing about it.
Don’t let the photo fool you — no more than 6 pounds I would guess. A slightly strange angle as I was trying to keep my shadow out of the shot.
