These mosaic floors are from the Villa Romana del Casale in Sicily, and date from first quarter of the 4th century AD — about 1,700 years ago.
Pictured:
- Roman hunter coursing a fox with greyhounds.
- Deer and boar driven into long nets and carried off to be roasted
- Rabbit taken with spear (and probably long net).
