Urban Herd


Spotted this herd of well over 20 deer this evening. This field is walkable from my very urban house.

I needed my tripod in the low light of the gloaming, but these deer clearly come to feed here every evening, and they have a heck of an alarm system. as about 200 geese feed among them.

I will be back with a tripod, and will walk the area too, as it’s clearly a good place to look for shed antlers over the next month or so.

    What do you do with the antlers? With as many urban deer I see in my town, I'm surprised I've never come across any.
