Paw-Paws on the Canal




This is our largest native forest fruit. It grows on a small tree that is found on often wet ground (i.e typically next to a river or marsh).

  2. I ate a half dozen or more yesterday on another outing, mostly to collect the seeds. Sprouting a few in the spring sounds like a low-impact project. :)
