The Baby Bald Eagles in the Nest Today






It's been a while since I saw the parents; they drop off fish and leave.

I'm no expert, but I think in the top picture the bird on the left is a female, and  the one on the right is a male, based on beak size and shape differentials I observed in their parents.

    The females are larger by about a third. You probably already knew this. Traditionally, the male Peregrine is called a tiercel, now falconers tend to use it as a blanket term for a male falcon (or hawk)
