Fox in the Bamboo Grove

  1. Some kind of clumping kind. Not very fast spreading. Was here when I arrived, in 20 years has maybe tripled in size.

  2. Almost certainly Asian. There are three kinds of bamboo native to north America, but our natives are more of a reed than a fishing pole, if you know what I mean. This stuff is 2-3 inches across and about 30" feet long; a bit too narrow for a bong, but good for stilts or a fence. When I thinned it a few weeks ago, I set aside long pieces (9 feet or so to use for a possible fence. Not sure I need a fence, but....
