Two Poops in One Shot

Occasionally I get flummoxed. One animal or two?

Based on size and fur in the scat on the right, this is a Coyote. But the scat on the left? Is it the same animal with one defecation of two very different meals? Or is it a Raccoon turd dropped next to the Coyote (or vice versa)?

In the end, I figured it was Raccoon scat, as those hackberries were picked high. Another clue: though the scat in the left has fallen apart on the right side, on the left side you can see the square end that common to Raccoon scat.
