These Dogs Are E-Collar Ready

Modern E-Collars are pretty great tools allowing me to walk my game-bred working terriers off-leash in the park without concern. While I am a big supporter of treats and clickers, I would remind the pure clicker-and-treats crowd that Karen Pryor, the for-profit maven of clicker training, could not take her own Border Terrier off lead at the park, and held this same dog in her yard with an Invisible Fence. For those who do not know the difference between modern e-collars, invisible fence collars, and the old trash-buster collars, see 10 Quick Notes for the E-Collar Curious.
