Losing Money While Killing Badgers



Dimitri Houtart is the BBC Rural Affairs & Environment Editor, and he notes that the Chief Vet at DEFRA in the U.K. says the outcome of this year’s badger culls indicates that culling can deliver the level of effectiveness required to be confident of achieving disease control benefits (aka slowing or stopping the spread of bovine TB).

Not said: If the U.K. licensed terrier work, they could make money and get the same results, rather than lose money for the same results.
