Ajax is a highly-trained border collie who helps locate New Zealand’s endangered Kea, the only meat-eating parrot in the world, and one that nests in burrows. This Kea is an alpine parrot (also the only one in the world) that lives in the most remote regions of New Zealand's South Island. Ajax, and human sidekick Corey, monitor Kea nests to make sure the population does not dip.
