Rebirth of a River



Forty years ago, the Potomac River was so polluted you worried about your health if you fell in. Today's, it's a terrific bass fishing river, and it's crowded with paddle boarders and kayakers. God bless the hippies and every environmental protection law they helped create.

  1. Burning midnight oil for months recently endeavoring to prevent one of largest big box stores in the world from running rough-shod over laws, local County Planning and the NW environment. I do not feel like a hippie, and never identified with the movement. -- TEC
