The "dogs of war" are unleashed in a satirical map from 1914, just as World War I was starting up. The dogs associated with each major combatant (British bulldog, German Dachshund, French poodle, etc) fight on the Western front, while a Russian steamroller comes in from the east. It was the American Pit Bull that ended it in this Big War and the next.
