California Rains Yield Super Bloom




California and much of the arid west is in the middle of a "super bloom" of desert poppies andf other wildflowers following gully-washer rains that seems to have (for now) ended a many-year drought. Photos by Bob Wick for the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of Interior.
