Meanwhile, in Hillsborough, California, a deer finds that standing on the front porch may save you from gun-hunters, but not ALL hunters.
As I noted a few years back there are more than 30,000 Mountain Lions in the U.S. and their numbers are slowly growing despite the fact that hunting these large animals is legal (if controlled by permit) in 10 of the 11 western states where they reside (with more states to the east being added every year).
