This detail from The Temptation of St Anthony, painted in the 17th Century by David Teniers, the Younger, looks like it could have come out of some part of the Star Wars saga. The full picture is below.
Apparently St. Anthony is also known as Anthony the Great, and he was a lazy bum and lunatic who squatted in abandoned tombs and buildings (and the occasional cave) and who was so crazy he routinely had hallucinations, aka he "suffered demons." By wrapping his mental illness in Christian piety, he somehow became semi-famous.
Back in the old days, a lunatic with visions living in a cave was how you became famous. Now, apparently, you produce a sex tape.
