"Cuddle Clones" are custom-created stuffed plush toys designed to mimic your dead pet. The way it works is that you upload photos of your pet, customize a few options, and add remarks about distinguishing features. The company then creates a plush replica which is delivered to your door in about two months. Smaller dogs, cats and other animals are about life-size, with bigger animals made to a scale of 13 to 20 inches. The price is $179 to $249, depending on the weight of your pet.
The company also makes custom figurines, golf-club covers, and Christmas ornaments. Or, of course, you could just go straight to taxidermy.... or psychiatry.
