The locals in Marche, Italy use dogs to find truffles worth thousands of dollars. And can Jack Russells be used for this kind of work as well? They can!
They use dogs because dogs don't eat truffles, where Pigs,will eat every one and the hunters need to be quick and wrestle the fungus away from the pig. No such drama with dogs I understand we,have these in america? Never ate one, on my bucket list though.
