Terrier Names: Pairs and Triplets

Dog names should be short and start with a hard consonant.  Or so I am told.  I think it's good practice, but I have given dogs longer names, like "Mountain," and names without hard consonants, like "Sailor".  Gideon and Moxie have been the two best names I have used, but of the names below, I like "Grip and Grin" quite a lot, as well as "Jeckyl and Hyde".
  • Grip and Grin
  • Gin and Tonic
  • Punch and Judy
  • Fur, Feather, Fin
  • Hook, Line, and Sinker
  • Jeckyl and Hyde
  • Twig and Branch
  • Hammer and Nail
  • Alpha and Omega
  • Gizmo and Gadget
  • Banjo and Harp
  • Judge and Jury
  • Bow and Arrow
  • Bark and Bite
  • Skull and Bone
  • Tarzan, Jane, and Cheetah
  • Milk and Egg
  • Tried and True
  • Rough and Tumble
  • Bell and Whistle
  • Hammer, Sickle, Tong
  • Law and Order
  • Tooth and Nail
  • Chicken and Egg
  • Rant and Rave
  • Blood, Sweat, and Tears
  • Crate and Barrel
  • Larry, Curly, and Moe
  • Ball and Chain
  • Slip and Fall
  • Rope and Twine
  • Whiskey, Tango, and Foxtrot
  • Catfish and Dogwood
  • Pilgrim and Deacon
  • Petal and Thorn
  • Flint and Steel
This list is not meant to be complete.  Add your suggestions in the comments!

  5. Faith, Hope and Charity. Faith because she has to be exercised daily and comes (usually) by hearing. Still waiting for Hope and Charity, I've only got space for one dog at the moment.
