Mount Thor



Yes, that's a real peak, and not a movie backdrop for Lord of the Rings.

Mount Thor is on Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada (way up north and to the far east) and that vertical drop (it's an overhand of about 100 degrees) is the largest in the world at about 5,000 feet.
