The pups grow up, but not by too much.
- Moxie = 6 pounds 12 oz at 18 weeks which means, according to this online calculator, that she will tip in at 9 pounds and 12 oz as an adult.
- Misto = 7 pounds 14 oz at 16 weeks which means, according to this online calculator, that she will tip in at 12 pounds and 14 oz as an adult.
We shall see!
For the record, I put a string on the chest of these two, and it was as I thought it would be -- exactly the same: 12 inches.

ReplyDeleteChest size is curious. My second JRT Max is a rather short legged 12" tall 13 1/2" long and 17 lbs. yet he escaped from a 3 1/2" X 8" hole in our fence. His chest measure 17"! I don't see how he did it but I watched him stick his head through and then sidle along 'til he was through this tiny hole. He's like half cat...
