New Jersey From the Highway

The top two pictures I shot with my cellphone camera out of a moving car while driving, the top one through the windshield while crossing the bridge. The bottom one I took while pulled over to check on the new pup.  The shots were edited with Snapseed.

Of course, New Jersey is not all smoke stacks and freeways.  It also has the Pine Barrens, one of the largest wilderness areas on the East Coast.  And yes, there are bears, as this sow and her 5 cubs, seen crossing the road near Butler, make plain.

  1. If you ever had to park run into the NJ pine barrens for an emergency crap you'll soon discover their, perhaps largest inhabitant, population wise, the tick.
Don't ask me how I know.
