The Dragon Makers

Only three genetic manipulations separate the world from having real-life dragons, and we are damn close to knowing how to turn them on.

  • Take a bird and turn on the gene for teeth (it's already been done);
  • Turn on the gene for size (we know where it is), and;
  • Turn on the gene for a tail.

The bottom line is that a dinosaur that flies is a DRAGON, and it's not as crazy a thing as you might think.
