Darwin Learns the Treadmill

Darwin arrived at my mother's house back in February, and he has settled in perfectly. He's a quiet, well-behaved, and very friendly little man. Mom says Darwin walks around the dog park with all the haughty royalty of a King born to the throne. Nice! 

The latest development is that my mother has him burning up excess energy with a half hour on the treadmill. My mom has her coffee next to the treadmill, Darwin walks, and then they go off together to the park for a little play and happy socialization time. Not a bad life!

Darwin is still a little unsure of the treadmill, but he is quickly gaining confidence. The treadmill will speed up soon enough. He's at 2 miles per hour now, but will manage three or four easily when he gets a bit more confidence. The goal here is to get him on the treadmill for a half hour a day twice a day. He looks to be well on his way!
