Dogs and humans are omnivorous social pack predators that live in hierarchical family groups.
Little wonder then that humans and dogs seem to connect on so many levels!
Now researchers say they have discovered that dog and human brains process vocalizations and emotions in similar ways and in similar parts of the brain. A big surprise? Not to anyone who has thought very much about omnivorous social pack predators that live in hierarchical family groups!
