Darwin Adapts

Darwin the dog is doing GREAT.  He's my mother's new companion dog, and he is ideal. He is quiet, has quickly learned to retrieve, is not shy, loves to cuddle, is quite confidant, and is very biddable. What's not to love?

Darwin is two and a half years old and 13 pounds, and he was pulled from a North Carolina kill shelter by a rescue worker.  He came north to his new home in Washington, D.C. this last Friday. And yes, he was already named Darwin, and yes, today is INTERNATIONAL DARWIN DAY.  Cosmic Karma. I think we've got some.
