River & Creek Below the House





I went down Windy Run at the end of the day to take a few shots of the fog on the Potomac River. 

The top two pictures are of Windy Run coming over the cliff (the Potomac Palisades), while the bottom two pictures are the Virginia shore across the fog-bound river to Georgetown.

If you put a boat in the river below my house, you could sail down river and onward to London, Paris, Cairo, or Manila.
