The End of Peppers

 
 
 

 
 

 

It's almost cold enough to slaughter hogs, the last week for peppers, apples are in full riot, and root crops are getting pulled for pantries. Cabbage and collards will be around for another month, but winter is knocking on the door, leaves are falling fast, and a rumor of snow is in the air.
