Norman Pudney performs as Puddles the Clown and is, in fact, a U.S.-trained professional clown (Clown College) from South Africa who reportedly stands 7 feet tall. He definitely has a golden voice. This is his version of Royals, a song about privilege and entitlement at a time of media-rich fantasy, originally done by Lorde.
I especially like the lamp -- a reference not only to the train life of the circus clown, but also Diogenes the Cynic's search for an honest man.
