What the Fox REALLY Said



Here's the answer to the question:  What does the fox say?

I suspect this is a situation where the scent of the dog has gotten a male fox very confused. 

The bark-howl at the end is what I often hear, late at night in winter, right outside my study window. I will tell you it makes me jump every time!

    The bark-howl caused my dog, who had been sleeping next to me on the couch, to jump down and walk hurriedly out of the room.
