Goya Paints a Setter

Hunting with Bait is a painting by Spanish painter Francisco Goya from 1775 and is, I believe, one of the first pictures showing the use of a setter to help a trapper set nets.

The caged owl is a lure, as is the attractant song bird. This particular painting is in the Prado.
