The ancient Fiat, at right, is so small I think it could almost fit inside the SmartCar.
I watched a 7-foot Italian woman on 7" heels get into a SmartCar yesterday, and it was like the Circus come to town, part contortionist act, part clown car stunt.
Of course the single seat electric Renault Twizy, below, could probably fit inside the Fiat. I found it parked on an Italian street, looking for a renter.
The price for gasoline in Italy? About $9 a gallon. No wonder there are so many scooters!
