These Two Pictures Tell a Lot of Story

Yakini, a baby gorilla born in November of 1999, reacts to the coldness of the stethoscope while getting a neonatal checkup at the Melbourne Zoo in Australia.

Yakini was born Caesarean section, and when he was delivered his heart was hardly beating.

Today, Yakini is a 12-year-old, 250-pound gorilla who resides in the Werribee Open Range Zoo in Victoria.

The picture, below, show his hands today!
