Flooded Forest


This is flooded forest in an area I sometimes hunt in winter. I went there with Gideon yeserday, but it was pretty warm and the mosquitos drove us out. I have not had bugs drive me out of forest or field in 20 years, so you know this was *special* in a bad way.

    I'm assuming that you are commenting about the abundance of mosquitos :) Here in Tucson during monsoon season this year, the mosquitos were insane. I went through 4 bottles of repellant in two months.

    Yes, swarms of mosquitos. I think they figured I was their last blood meal before Easter. An amazing hatch!
