Pug Loaf?

This picture of a pug is barely photo-shopped as this picture, and the one embedded below, make clear.  Pugs really are a lot like a loaf of bread!

The top picture, by the way, was originally part of a Lifebuoy ad in Indonesia

Lifebuoy soap?  I haven't seen that stuff in years!  Apparently, it's no longer made in the US or the UK, but is still a brand made in Cyprus for international sale.  What?  They make something in Cyprus?

A hat tip to Sarah B. in Italy who sent the pug picture to me, and who is enjoying running her own Laika dogs in Umbria.

  1. That's just disturbing.

Speaking of pugs, I've never heard one that barked normally. They all sound like they have something stuffed up their noses and are trying to cough it out.

No doubt that they have personality and make great pets in some respects, but they're in the same boat as Bulldogs and Cavaliers: I won't ever own one.

  3. You guys are so mean... It's not the pugs' fault they breath like drowning .... somethings... They really are sweet dogs.... Love my pugs!
