Korea's Got Talent
Sung-bong Choi is a 22-year-old "manual worker" from South Korea. He uses Korean street slang to answer the judge's question about employment, which is why his answer generates a small laugh from the audience and the judges.
Sung-bong Choi's story is entirely true; he supported himself on the streets from the age of five to fifteen, and his first formal education was at a high school for the performing arts where he got his first musical training.

That is so moving. What a talented young man.
ReplyDeleteI finally took the time to watch this and it's truly inspiring. Also, the music means a tremendous amount to me personally. If you've never heard it, it's from the movie "The Mission", and it's the rare movie soundtrack worth owning. Music that can move a person to tears is a rare treat not to be missed.
